The free circulation desk module has been extended to support multi-campus colleges and consortia of schools that have independent collections and sets of students.
If you have multiple campuses, when you start the circulation desk for the first time, you will be asked to identify your school or campus.
After the initial setup, you will not be asked for the campus again, and the information displayed will be from the campus selected.
This means that you can have circulation desks run by volunteers who carry out core circulation tasks across many campuses. In many schools, these will be pupils helping with issues and returns.
The circulation desks operate with touch screens, so you do not need a keyboard, making it easier for volunteers to use.
